Today was my 1st run with no hypos! This has never happened before so was such a great feeling!

I ended up starting with a blood sugar of 14.5mmols/l and blood ketone level of 0.4. In closed loop!

This is much higher than I’ve ever been told to exercise with. However after my recent consultation with Medtronic, they reassured me, that as long as my ketones are Less than 0.5, then I can carry on with moderate exercise.

40minutes into the run my sugar was dropping, so consumed some rapid glucose and again at 60minutes and I finished with a glucose of 4.9mmols/l.

Thos has given me such positivity for my next long run next week!
